Lymphatic drainage massage of the eyelids: Wipe fatigue from the face!

There is a simple technique that everyone can master. Allow 10-15 minutes for the procedure, preferably in the morning. It should be done daily for a week or longer.

How is the lymph drainage massage of the eyelids performed correctly? It is worth noting that this procedure will be useful not only to those who are looking for ways to remove bags under the eyes but also to those who wish to reduce the number and depth of wrinkles under the eyes. After all, a massage that improves lymph flow is a great way to solve these problems. Since the skin around the eyes is very delicate and vulnerable, any manipulation of it needs to be very careful. Here is exactly the correct and consistent performance of the procedure at home which will be discussed in this article.

Briefly about the causes of edema

If in the morning you often wake up with bags under your eyes, then you must look for the cause. Most often this is due to the cardiovascular and excretory systems. If swelling occurs occasionally, then perhaps it is caused by leaving overnight makeup, too much salt the night before, or too long sleep.

The cause of bags or bruises under the eyes must be found. But in any case, it is worth taking a morning complex of measures that will help to quickly get rid of bags under the eyes. Lymphatic drainage massage is an integral part of it. It improves the outflow of fluid through the lymphatic vessels and helps the skin to maintain elasticity.

Eye massage – Varieties

There are two types of anti-edema eye massage:

Manual

Apparatus

Both, of course, can be done in the salon. But since the time and sometimes the finances to visit a beautician is not enough, we have to solve the problem ourselves at home.

As for the hardware massage for the eyes, it is ideal for its implementation vibromassager-glasses. In addition to the positive effects on the skin, this massager also gives a pleasant relaxing effect.

How to remove bags under the eyes with a manual massage? There is a simple technique that everyone can master. For the procedure should allocate 10-15 minutes, preferably in the morning. Do it every day for a week or longer.

Usually, during this time, the condition normalizes (unless, of course, the cause is a very serious kidney or heart problem). After a course of maintenance procedures once a week is enough. In the evening you can also do lymph drainage, in which case it will be a good prevention against swelling, bruising, and wrinkles.

How to get an anti-edema eyelid massage

To make it easier for you to master the technique of performing lymph drainage massage, let’s break it down step by step:

1. The first thing to do is to clean your skin well with foam or cleansing gel. The area around the eyes is wiped with a tonic and a special product designed for the eyelids is applied. This can be an eye cream, a nourishing mask, a serum, or cosmetic oil (such as grape or almond oil). If you apply a cream that is well absorbed into the skin, then after some time to continue the massage, reapply it.

2. Massage the eyes with both hands simultaneously on both eyes. With two fingers (index and middle) in a clockwise direction making circular motions at the outer corners of the eyes, i.e. at the temples.

3. Using the same fingers make gentle pressure on the skin under the eyes in the direction from temple to nose. Repeat this method three times. Then move to the upper eyelid and make the same pressure, but in the opposite direction (from the inner corner of the eye to the outer).

4. The next method is carried out with the pads of four fingers at once. For several seconds, press on the lower eyelid, then also on the upper eyelid.

5. Use your index and middle fingers to lightly tap the lower eyelids from temple to nose, and then the upper eyelids in the opposite direction.

6 This technique can be called “rolling over. The middle finger is placed on the edge, turning the nail to the temple. Without tearing from the skin, roll the finger so that the fingernail is directed towards the nose. The movement is directed to the bone under the eye. Such roll over to reach the inner corner of the eye. Repeat the technique 4-5 times.

7. The previous massage movement is repeated exactly for the upper eyelid. Is done on the area under the eyebrow, but in the opposite direction – from the nose to the temple.

8. Press lightly on the outer corner of the eye with the middle finger 10 times, then “roll” over the lower eyelid in the same way as described above. Press 10 times on the inner corner of the eye, then “roll” over the outer eyelid toward the temple. This makes a circle that is repeated 8-10 times.

9. Using the index and middle fingers, make light movements on the circular eye muscle, grasping the line above the eyebrow and the upper part of the cheekbone. The direction is the same – starting from the temple along the lower line to the nose and continuing along the upper line from the nose to the temple.

10. The last technique is a gentle tapping with the fingertips in the same direction as in the previous paragraphs.

11. After the massage washes again and makes a contrast bath. Pour cold water into the palms of the hands and hold the face for 8-10 seconds. Then also in warm water. Repeat the procedure 10-12 times.

Afterward, a light eyelid emulsion is applied to the skin. In general, to get the maximum effect and in a shorter time to remove the bags under the eyes, it is recommended to use unique products.

How to remove puffiness from the whole face?

This technique helps to quickly relieve the condition.

1. To perform it, bend your thumbs and press their middle phalanges tightly to the middle of the forehead.

2. Then move the fingers apart toward the temples, as if pressing the skin away. Then the straightened thumbs press to the wings of the nose and lead along the cheekbones to the sides.
